Terrie Valdez-Rubio

Intake Specialist and Professional Monitor

  • Court approved in San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange County Superior Courts–we are on the list!
  • 20+ years working with families, including San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, various School Districts, and owning her own daycare facility
  • Department of Justice Background Checked / Fingerprint Cleared
  • Trustline Cleared
  • Pediatric First Aide/ CPR Certified
  • Child Development Associate Teacher Permit

Get to know the team!

All of our monitors have been fingerprinted and cleared through the Department of Justice.

They have also been trained in identifying all forms of child abuse and have obtained CPR and First Aid certification.

Mr. Ron

Professional Monitor

Ron has 12 years of experience working with families and children at a home daycare facility. Also a retiree from the City of Montclair, he now works with us doing on-site and off-site visits.

Ms. Debbie

Professional Monitor

Debbie earned her Masters Degree in Social Welfare and has continued her education at CSUSB through the 90’s and 2000’s. With 30 years of experience in social work with families and young children specializing in foster care and group home, she is passionate about the advocation and importance of family for young children.

Ms. Liz

Professional Monitor

Liz, a mother of four, speaks fluent Spanish to provide bilingual services that are both comfortable and professional. Offering on-site and off-site visitation, Liz travels throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Ms. Sheila

Professional Monitor

Sheila has 15 years of experience working in foster care with troubled teens and pre-teens. She loves reuniting families and looks forward to working in the Inland Empire and the High Desert.

Ms. Lorna

Professional Monitor

Lorna has experience working in Education with children of all ages. She worked in foster care for more than a decade and facilitates positive relationships with families. She does on-site visits and travels to Yucaipa, Cherry Valley, Banning, Beaumont and Cabazon for your off-site visit needs.

Ms. Cruz

Professional Monitor

Mr. Cruz has 30 years of experience in law enforcement. The last 10 years of his career he was a family law bailiff which gained him valuable experience dealing with stressful situations and difficult people. He does on-site and off site visits.

Ms. Alma

Professional Monitor

Ms. Alma has a BA in criminal justice and is trilingual, she speaks fluent Spanish (as it is her first language) and ASL. She provides onsite and offsite visits. She works with children with special needs full time and enjoys helping to reunite families while advocating and protecting children.

Ms. Alyce

Professional Monitor

Ms. Alyce is bilingual (Spanish) and services the areas of Los Angeles county and Inland Empire. She come to us with 13 years of monitoring experience and really enjoys servicing families with young children. Alice works with Child care services full time and helps Reunited part time to  reunify families. She is a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 7. 

Ms. Lynette

Professional Monitor

Ms. Lynette is new to our facility but not to life. She is retired and  volunteers for the LIghthouse for the Blind. She works with our families onsite and is willing to travel to help reunite children to their non custodial families. She is a mother of 3 and a proud grandmother of 6. She has a  soft touch while keeping a close eye out for the safety and well being of the children she cares for.

Ms. Mena

Professional Monitor

Ms. Mena has a degree in Sociology and 17 years experience working with children. She specializes in working with children with special needs and troubled teens. She now works with our facility full time and enjoys reunifying families. She offers onsite and offsite services. Her love for children is unmeasurable and she brings laughter when she walks into a room.
